Previous Fellows
The Ron and Susan Dubin Native American Artist Fellowship supports at least one artist-in-residence each summer. Artists selected for the Dubin Fellowship work in the traditional arts, and have the potential to contribute significantly to their field. They are given a stipend, housing, and the time free from daily and financial pressures to spend concentrated periods of time on their artwork, and to study the collections here. The artist also has the new Dubin studio in which to work.
The Ron and Susan Dubin Native American Artist Studio, dedicated October, 1997, provides a welcoming and functional workspace for artists-in-residence as well as a venue for sharing completed work through open houses attended by special guests, SAR members, and others.
